Relax in the privacy of a single family home during your stay at Sugarloaf, in the quiet but convenient West Mountain area. Enjoy spectacular views of the entire Bigelow Mountain range from almost every room of this three floor, 2000 square foot house. Located just over 100 yards from the West Mountain Trail, you can ski to the door on a short cross cut trail. Jump on your nordic skis in the back yard, and you can connect with the Outdoor Center's 105 km groomed trail system.

The main floor is almost completely open, allowing great exposure to the winter sun. It has an entry area, living room area, wood stove, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and half bath. The upper level has two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with a queen) and a full bath. The lower level has one bedroom (with twin size bunk beds and a trundle bed), a family room with double futon, laundry room, and a full bath.

The West Mountain chair runs weekends and school vacation weeks, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM(ski down to the base of the chair and you can ride the lift up and ski over to the base area to buy a ticket.) You can ski to the door whether the West Mountain Chair is running or not. Also, a free shuttle bus goes by the house every twenty minutes from 8 AM to 10 AM, and every 30 minutes until 5 PM on weekends and holiday weeks (or is available by calling 237-6853 at other times) to take you directly to the base lodge or Super Quad in the morning or to restaurants and shops at other times. Leave your car parked in the driveway for your entire stay!

Sheets, towels, and cleaning service are provided. No smoking and no pets, please. A security deposit will also be required.

Directions: Turn left off Rt. 27 onto the Sugarloaf access road. Take a right onto the West Mountain Rd. (you can't miss this one, follow the large sign for the golf course and Riverside area, just after the "Condo Check In" building). Continue straight on that road past the sign for Village on the Green, then pass under the chairlift and bear left at the fork (the sign there indicates the golf course is to the right). Immediately on your left, pass the first left for Penobscot Circle, and take the next left (no sign here, but it's the other end of Penobscot Circle) and we are the first house on the right. You'll see the number 6035 on a tree.
